With the launch of the 2022 global Primer on Directors' Duties and Disclosure Obligations, the Bar Council and Climate Governance Malaysia co-organised this webinar to discuss the latest updates
For the second year running, the Bar Council collaborated with Climate Governance Malaysia (CGM) in organising an online discussion of the law in Malaysia around directors' duties and disclosure obligations in relation to climate change.
This webinar was in conjunction with the launch of the 2022 version of the global Primer on Climate Change: Directors' Duties and Disclosure Obligations published by the Commonwealth Climate and law Initiative (CCLI) in collaboration with the Climate Governance Initiative (CGI). The update on the Malaysian chapter of the Primer was prepared by To' Puan Janet Looi and her team at Skrine, with inputs from Jia Yaw, representing the Bar Council Environment & Climate Change Committee (BCECCC).
