The Star ESG Summit 2024 will feature industry professionals and experts discussing the effective strategies and the need to integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into business practices.
Star Media Group Berhad is organising The Star ESG Summit 2024 on the 6th and 7th of November 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Summit seeks to facilitate collaborations and develop a shared understanding of ESG principles to address economic, social and environmental challenges. It also aims to provide a platform for ESG experts to share knowledge and insights on pressing topics such as climate change and sustainable development.
Jia Yaw has been invited to speak on Plenary Three - Panel Discussion, entitled "Social Impact and Inclusion: Fostering Equality and Well-being". Zikry Kholil (Co-founder and Co-chairman of Incitement) will moderate the panel, which also features Dr. Aaron Sum (Group Chief Strategy, Marketing & Biz Development Officer and Director at AllianceDBS Research). Together, they will explore how addressing issues of inequality is essential for creating resilient, inclusive communities, especially for climate action.
