BFM's Juliet Jacobs speak with Dr. Helena Varkkey and Jia Yaw, both from CERAH, the civil society organisation formed in 2015 in response to the perennial haze problem.
The interview comes in the wake of the SUHAKAM complaint submitted by CERAH, Greenpeace Malaysia and a broad alliance of civil society organisations. Juliet finds out about the idea behind the complaint and what it hopes to achieve.
Dr. Helena is a senior lecturer at the Dept. of International and Strategic Studies at the University Malaya, while Jia Yaw is the lawyer who worked on preparing the SUHAKAM complaint.
