SUHAKAM, in collaboration with C4 Center, organised this event which shed a lot of light on the problems linked with imported plastic waste
The event was held physically at the Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur with a limited number of physical attendees and many others participating virtually.

The stakeholder consultation was divided into two panels, with presentations from and discussions among public officers from the Department of Environment, National Solid Waste Management Department, Royal Malaysian Customs Department, a representative from the local plastic manufacturing industry and environmental lawyers.
The panel discussions were moderated skilfully by Dato' Mah Weng Kwai, Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia, and Cynthia Gabriel, Founding Director of the Center to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4 Center).
